Senior Player Profile Norah Meier #17 |
Norah
has started for the Lady Tornado for four years and played for St. Mary Middle
School for the three prior years. Her aggressive defense earned her the 1999 Most
Valuable Defensive Player Award and a place on the 1999 All District Team. Norah’s
most memorable soccer moment is "when a Reidland soccer player grabbed my
shorts and tore them off me". Norah also has participated in Tornado track and field, winning 6th place in the discus and 5th place in the shot put in the 1998 Regionals. She is a member of Beta Club, Sambiki Saru Sorority, Yearbook Staff, Young Republicans, FCA, SADD, and Academic All Stars. As the winner of the 2000 Marine Operators Association Scholarship, Norah plans to attend college majoring in interior design and architecture. Norah is the daughter of Rick and Janet Meier. Along with all Tornado soccer fans, Norah gives a special thanks to her dad for his help in building our great soccer dugouts. |
