Senior Player Profile John Semeraro #12 |
Team
co-captain John Semeraro is the son of Joe and Karen Semeraro. His soccer career
began 13 years ago. He has been a five-year member of the PTHS soccer squad. He
played WKFC Storm for nine years. John has held team positions at center mid,
forward, sweeper and outside mid. In his freshman year, John was awarded the Goal of the Year and tied for most goals. In his junior year, he was named to the All District, All Region and 2nd Team All State teams. John is a five-year member of the PTHS golf team and ran indoor track last year. He is president of the Y Club and serves on the FCA Council. He is a member of the Beta Club, National Honor Society. He is a two-time winner of the Gatorade Will to Win Award. "I want to be remembered as a leader and a player who did whatever it took to win," John commented. "Being able to lace up my shoes and put on a Tilghman jersey to represent my school is as special to me as anything." |
